Dove Flights - FAQ:
Where do the doves go once they are released at my event?
My pure white doves are trained to fly back to my home, where they live in a "Dovecote" also known in the US as a "Loft". They love their home, their mates, and families, and enjoy 'hanging out' at home when not working. Don't we all?
What happens at an event where the doves are released?
I display my doves in beautiful handcrafted baskets for you and your guests to enjoy prior to release. Once released, they will move into 'formation' and circle several times above you and your guests, then head for home. While we can never say how long they will circle, they often circle anywhere from 10 - 50 minutes in easy viewing distances.
I've seen your doves in different baskets, can you tell me more?
All of our baskets are made by craftsman with high-quality materials. Reed to solid wood can be selected. These are master craftsmen who build special baskets in the USA that meet the requirements of the doves. Our cost to bring you these baskets range in costs of five hundred to one thousand dollars to purchase for your events. I adorn the baskets per your request. They are trimmed in coordinating ribbon and flowers. Just let us know the colors you would like.
How are the doves displayed at my event?
I travel with our doves in very secure travel containers. Once on site, we place them in more delicate and beautiful baskets of your choice, so that you and your guests may enjoy them prior to their release.
Feel free to take pics, selfies, or ask me to take a pic for you. I am happy to accommodate your memories of this special event! Which basket will you select? A pretty reed basket, or remote control operated? Somewhere in between?
When and Where can we have a dove flight?
I release my doves for flights across Montana and Idaho 365 days a year. This means contacting me as soon as possible to book your flight is very important. Depending on the scheduling of traveling with the doves, we may not be available in your area if we are already doing a flight in another area of the state. I simply can't be in but one place at once. Doves must be released with enough time to fly home in daylight or we will only display them. They will not fly in the dark.
What do you charge? and how can I pay to book a flight?
Due to the high amount of variables, I must first get more info from you before giving a quote. Where, Which baskets, How many doves you'd like (we have minimum and maximum numbers that vary on different days depending on other bookings, and which doves can fly from your location), Type of event, Length of the event.
Lots to take in here, right? So I don't give blanket quotes, I prequalify your flight and the availability of all of these. Please contact me with as much info as you can, and we can narrow down an accurate quote quickly.
Payment Info --
I require a retainer to actually "Save the Date" of your event, and "mark" which doves will make your flight to guarantee they will be at your event, and not traveling back from a prior event. Your event is NOT booked, until I have received this payment.
> Funerals are the exception, and I take payment at the location **prior** to releasing your flight of doves.
All flights will need to be paid in full 30 days prior to the event -- no exceptions. If I am not flying, I am not covering the cost of care and gas for training and exercise. Lack of payment is a forfeit for service so I may try to recoup expenses, they have to eat regardless.
Payments may be made with PayPal, and I will give you all the info you need when you call to be sure we can book your date.
Have other questions? Contact me today and I can help personalize and create a Dove Flight you will never forget. I will help you with selecting the perfect baskets, colors, flowers, as well as where to display them at your event, and when they are typically released.
